With trying to make this website accessible on all devices I have added the ability to create a web app shortcut for your Android device. Follow the steps below to get the web app shortcut on your home screen.
- Go to http://www.theevernotebook.com – screenshot
- Click the “settings” hard button on your Android phone
- Choose “More” from the settings options - screenshot
- Click “Add bookmark” - screenshot
- Click “Ok” to save the bookmark - screenshot
- Go to a free spot on your homescreen and long press on the screen until the “Add to Home screen” shows up - screenshot
- Choose “Shortcuts” - screenshot
- Choose “Bookmark” - screenshot
- Choose your recently created bookmark for The Evernote Book - screenshot
I will add photos of these steps as soon as I can get someone who has a rooted version of Android to take some screenshots. I am also looking into ways to make this process even simpler.
